Berkeley Middle East Hospital & Clinic for Women & Children’s Health

A Project by Berkeley Voice of Global Women, Founded by Musa Shaikh

The Azra Mahmood Shaikh Foundation, under the leadership of Azra Mahmood, stands as a living embodiment of compassion, dignity, and service.
Inspired by the moral legacy of Late Shaikh Mahmood Ul Hassan, a man of honour and integrity, and led by Musa Shaikh, a leader devoted to sustainable development and social equity, the Foundation has partnered with Berkeley Middle East to establish Pakistan’s first international-standard healthcare city.

At its heart lies the Berkeley Middle East Hospital & Clinic for Women & Children’s Health and the Berkeley Middle East Medical School — institutions created to deliver world-class healthcare for those most in need and transformative education for talented students from underserved communities.
Both are guided by a strong ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) philosophy ensuring sustainability, transparency, and measurable impact for generations to come.
